I’m not saying I’ve never used an LLM like ChatGPT, or that all AI will be harmful for humanity. Surely not. Like any typical Aquarius Mercury, I’m a huge fan of invention and innovation. My favorite magazine as a kid was Popular Science. 🧬 I eagerly hope we will use AI to cure disease, find solutions to wealth inequality, and help predict natural disasters. There are so many wonderful things ahead for us as a collective, but we must navigate the current muddy liminal space of birthing new technology while not abandoning our humanity or taking the bait of ease over integrity.
As Uranus shifts into Gemini ♊️ on July 7, 2025 we enter a new age of technological advancement and immediacy. Expect your nervous system to feel like it's buzzing, electrified, vibrating. Expect incredible, lightning fast changes with communication, media, power sources, and transportation. As Pluto in Aquarius and Uranus in Gemini trine each other in Air signs, transformation and revolution will be rapid for the entire collective. The energetic weather becomes an electrical data storm. The road to change becomes a 10-lane expressway.

While caught up in the incredible speed and anticipation of shifts, we must not lose touch with our spectacular embodied humanity and the messy laboratory of experience that we’ve been given. With new tools come new levels of accountability. What starts as a shortcut may become a habit. What begins as a convenience may lead to bypassing the magical (and often frustrating and gradual) process of creation with which we are uniquely gifted. What begins as optimization of humanity can slip into the stripping of the beauty of difference and individuality.
And just a word about the environmental impact of AI: We must not fall for the temptation of abandoning this paradise of a planet for the hope of an efficient and easy life. We need this Earth and its complex ecosystems– every element and living Being in tune with one another as one harmonious family. We are the caretakers of this world, and we belong here. We are Her stewards and Her children.

Intuition is the compass we need to navigate life correctly. It's a built-in toolset we're all born with, but it's been trained out of many of us in the name of religious conformity, service to the system, patriarchal control, and colonial capitalism. Your intuition is a threat to systems of control. Your intuition has been numbed and repressed so you don't listen to the nagging feeling in your stomach when you see something happening that's wrong. So you don't speak up. So you don't quit your job. So you don't report the abuse. So you buy that new thing. So you ignore your dreams. So you don't rebel against the powers that want you docile, stressed, and overwhelmed.
The way we gain our power back is to go within even more deeply. The way we keep hold on our humanity and claim our individual and collective agency is to become more embodied, more radically true to ourselves, and more courageous in the face of fear that keeps us small. Your intuition is your compass. Your intuition is the way to freedom.
Don’t be like everyone else. Don't let them numb you to your own body and your own felt experience. Don’t let the fast pace of advancement take away your pondering, your reflection, your wandering, your expression. Your knowing is precious, priceless, and powerful. We need your art. We need your wisdom. We need your wild.
